Here are some tips for planning your road trip.
Plan Your Route
It’s important to plan the route you want to take. Even if you already know your destination, planning can save you the stress of planning your stops and route. It’s no fun spending long hours in a car with unhappy passengers. Before planning your trip, make sure you have a working GPS. This will help you avoid traffic jams. Many other apps can help you plan your route. This is one of the most important things you need to do when you plan on going on a trip.
Check Car Condition
Your car should be in perfect condition. You don’t want your vehicle to break down in the middle of the highway and not know what to do. When packing your car, be sure to put the most important things at the beginning and the less necessary things at the end. When packing for a road trip, be organized. These tips will make it easier for you to plan your road trip.
Set a Budget
Driving to your destination is cheaper than flying. However, you have to pay for lodging, tolls, and food. It’s important to determine your expenses and hidden costs in advance so you don’t end up empty-handed.
A travel budget calculator can help you do this. There are a few things you can do to save money. Start by filling up your car with gas. Pack light and limit the weight of your cargo. A car that is easier to drive is also lighter.…

69’s Wailea Beach
Just a few minutes away from Hapuna Beach Park is 69’s Beach, a beautiful beach. This beach is perfect for those who like to read a book and surf the high waves. Mile 69 is where 69’s is located on the island. To get to the parking lot, you will have to drive down a dirt road. If you’re lucky enough to go in good weather, it’s best to arrive early. The parking lot can fill up quickly, so park on the road and walk a short distance to the beach. This beach is great for snorkeling, surfing, and skimboarding. This beach is quiet and surrounded by cliffs and Keawe trees.
Hapuna Beach Park
This is a local favorite. This beach has the best waves, more space and beautiful sunset views. Hapuna is a gated park located between Waikoloa and Kawaihae. As a side note, if it is windy or there is a high tide warning on any given day, your children and other inexperienced swimmers should stay out of the water.
Bodyboarding, swimming in lava tubes, and jumping off rocks are my favorite memories of Hapuna. The south side of Hapuna has a huge rock wall that we loved jumping off of (see photo above). The “Toilet Bowl,” an ancient lava tube, was also fascinating. Many people attempt to swim the entire length of it. It is best to be experienced before attempting. Tourists love to watch the turtles wandering around the Hapuna Prince Hotel. This area is great for swimming, snorkeling, and bodyboarding. Hapuna Beach is perfect for partying, bodyboarding, and jumping off rocks.
Spencer Beach Park
Spencer Beach is a beautiful park, perfect for everything from snorkeling to basketball. My family and I would often go there to camp or have a BBQ. This beach is great for snorkelers and kids because there are no big waves. If you plan to visit this beach, you should bring your own snorkeling or fishing gear. There are many corals on this beach. The pavilion is great for parties, even at night. It has excellent lighting.
Two steps are leading up to the small pool. Many turtles come to the reef to feed. This place is great for swimming and snorkeling. This beach will always be one of my favorites. Not only because of its beautiful scenery but also because of its rich history. The cultural center is located at the top of the hill, where you can learn more about Hawaiian history and see an ancient Hawaiian heiau.…
